Initial Evaluation

The evaluation will involve thorough review of your history, medical issues, limitations, followed by a comprehensive movement assessment and testing.

The goal of the evaluation is to identify key areas for improvement related to your pain or injury. We'll then begin to develop a plan of action with activities specific to our findings. 

Follow-Up Sessions

You shouldn't have to come to PT 2-3x/week. This is common practice in the insurance-based "healthcare" model but is unnecessary. It reduces your autonomy and doesn't necessarily accelerate outcomes. Typical interventions are focused on exercise and movement but also may include manual (hands-on) treatment or dry needling as deemed appropriate.

Frequency of follow up sessions will be determined at the initial evaluation, typically 1 session per week is optimal. The overall duration of your care will vary based on your injury, history and ability to execute the provided interventions consistently.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Programming and Check-In

After your evaluation you will receive a follow-up email recapping the findings and plan. It will include the prescribed exercises and associated details. Following  each follow-up session, you will receive an updated program to follow on your own. You're encouraged to send form-check videos, questions, concerns between sessions.
